Review: Solved wifi extension problem - extremely easy, would recommend - Extremely easy and straightforward to set up. In case you're wondering, yes, this bundle of 2 google nest mesh wifi routers will work perfectly to extend your wifi. All I had to do is use one of them as my main router (replacing my old router) then plug my other router into the room I wanted better wifi coverage in. They connected with each other and now I have super fast wifi in all rooms. I was able to set all of this up in 30 minutes.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: This states a two pack of routers and then lower it states it is one router and one extender, which is it?**
A: They have one two and three. There is always one router/access point and then wiress points. Sound like you have 1 and 1.

**Q: how to connect to multiple cat5e connected computers?**
A: Start by using the google home app on your IOS or android device.
Once you install the app, use the app to setup the router. After you have setup the router, plug the ethernet cable to the left of the power cord to your ISP modem. The port has a globe for an icon. That's the port.

Use the app again to setup the Nest Wifi Point.
Test the mesh network and ensure you are internet bound.
Once that verifies good now do this next step.

The other ethernet port on the router plug a cable into the port.
Plug the other end of the cable to a switch.
Now you can plug other computers as you wish.

Notes:
The router will provide DHCP services to the network

Good luck

**Q: What's the difference between two pack and one router + one point? why would people buy two routers rather than one router and one point to extend?**
A: If you have 2 routers you can run a wired Ethernet to the first router and extend the signal better than one wireless access point losing some of the signal before broadcasting out again

**Q: Why does it display as a tall router rather than a short mini one in the item picture?**
A: Its just how the photo was taken.
It's all about the written description.

Getting rid of this system ASAP. Unless your house uses next to no bandwidth and you have very few devices. Do not get these.
