It's to the point, easy to understand and beautifully illustrated with his photographs. He doesn't over analyze, and the reader isn't bogged down in theories and technical jargon. There are the usual lessons on aperture, ISO, shutter speed etc but it is presented very simply. Lots of great tips throughout the book for the experiential learner. The only downside to this book, is that it isn't digital.
