Dan Dan Noodles is my favourite dish and I've always wanted to make it at home but I was hesitant to buy this on Amazon because nothing - even well known supermarket brands - have come close to the real thing. But I saw the reviews of this one and gave it a go. Glad I did. The noodles are the perfect thickness and texture and the spicyness isn't burn your tastebuds off hot but it's for those of us who appreciate a good spicy dan dan noodle. The amount of sauce and sesame paste was a perfect ratio to the noodles as well (I used the entirety of both packets). The noodles only took 5 mins to boil (they weren't ready at 3 mins) and then you just mix in the sauce packets after you plate the noodles. Only "issue": the sesame paste comes out almost as a solid and won't spread in the noodles even when they're hot and wet. I recommend putting the sesame paste into a a separate bowl with a small amount of hot water to get it back into paste form before mixing it into the noodles otherwise you'll have chunks of sesame paste in your noodles. Outside of that this is a 10/10 for me and I'll absolutely be buying again.
