To my pleasure, this keeps my face matte throughout the day, is silky smooth upon application, unscented, DOES NOT make me break out, and is comparable to other "high-end" primers. I would argue that the DHC just feels a bit more silkier/cosmetically elegant, but the effects were quite similar. I have tried primers from Smashbox, Urban Decay, and ELF. This product still preserves my makeup the same, although I still have to blot 2 times a day like with all primers except my Hourglass primer. I will be using this on a daily basis while saving my Hourglass primer for special occasions. This unconventional product turned out to be wonderfully useful for my beauty needs! My dress' top had a lot of sequins and every time I put it on for alterations, I would be bright red on my arms after 10 minutes. I was terrified to wear it for a full day. I used Lanacane and there was barely any mark. I know how well this product worked because I missed a single spot on both sides of my gown which welted, swelled and was bright red for a week.
