A: 1. Please read the product manual carefully. 2. Start Measuring when You See “Lo℉”. 3. Pay attention not to touch the probe with your hands or other objects with high temperature Before taking your temperature.

**Q: Why are the temperature readings inconsistent?**
A: If you measure directly after powering up, the measurement results are inaccurate and the measurement time is up to 30 seconds or more. Be sure to start measuring when you see “Lo℉”.

**Q: How do I replace the battery?**
A: 1. Gently pull the battery cover off by hand at the top of the thermometer. 2. Place a fresh 1.55 V button cell battery of SR41, UCC392, or LR41 or equivalent into the battery compartment with the positive terminal on.

**Q: How to switch between °C and °F?**
A: During off status, Press and hold the on/off button for about 3 seconds, and when you hear the "Bi", immediately press the button again.

**Q: Is the thermometer waterproof?**
A: Yes. Please note that only the tip of the thermometer (the measuring part) is waterproof.

Really happy with this thermometer! It measures temperature very quickly which is super convenient. Easy to use, accurate readings every time, and the display is clear and easy to read. One small tip — for the most accurate result, hold it in place for a couple extra seconds after the beep. Once you know this trick it works perfectly every time. Compact size makes it easy to store. A must-have for every household! Highly recommend!

Glad I bought this thermometer when I did. I came down with some kind of plague and our other thermometer died. This thermometer reads VERY QUICKLY!! Like in 10 seconds or under!!! I was a little cautious with the quick readings so I did a few stings of readings within a few minutes. They were pretty close and all within 0.4 degrees f. Except 1 time they were off by a degree, but I was still pretty confident with the majority of the readings. I was consistently using this thermometer along side my daughters SpongeBob one that literally takes 2 minutes to read a temp and they were very close at all times. This one will make flu season MUCH easier with a 5 year old.
