Looking at the pictures, they are same.** A: Hi Alex, Good question. The body of the Grinder and the Refiner are exactly the same. The difference is in the power transmission. The Rice grinder is designed to run for a few hours a week but the chocolate refiners are designed to run for days at a time. The Belts, gears and bearings are all different so these machines can carry more load and work for extended time.
