Honestly it's the only watch I can find that's actually water resistant. I will always come back to casio for this reason. **Q: Does this watch have removable links?** A: No, it doesn't have removable links. Part of the clasp slides and locks to fit any wrist large or small. This is the second one of these I have bought. Since it's both analog and digital, it's great for travel. You can set one for home and one for when you have traveled to. **Q: the screen is color cream(white) or gold?** A: The face is kind of an off white color. If by "screen" you mean the digital display, that is a goldish tan with black characters. **Q: What does water resist mean for this watch?** A: It is NOT water SAFE!! IT WILL LEAK if you put it on your arm and dive in ANYTHING WET! But why would you do that anyway??? Too lazy to take it off??? You can also reconfirm this by simply taking off the back to replace the battery. You will not see "water tight gaskets" anywhere or screws to tighten the gaskets down. So you would be a fool to put it in anything wet!! Let me also add, if you are planning on using this watch because it has an alarm, don't bother. IT IS SO FAINT, YOU WILL NEVER HEAR IT!!! You will need to wear a white jacket and carry a stethoscope constantly!! THEN, and only THEN, you "might" be able to hear it. Furthermore it looses time. The watch I bought 40 years ago in Wales, never had those problems; it just finally wore out. I have written this assessment a number of times in the past.
