### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ MDR-MA900の後釜になってくれそうな予感

コスパのいい開放型のヘッドホンです。 兄弟機の70xa、50xで迷って インピーダンス(と価格)で50にしました。 ●MDR-MA900の後釜を探し続けています ・私は10年くらい前のソニーの開放型「MDR-MA900」が 大のお気に入りでして、長年愛用しています。 側圧が低く、かつ耳を圧迫しないパッド形状で疲れにくい 音場が広く、自然な鳴り方で聴き疲れしない とても軽い とにかく蒸れない。長時間使用しても蒸れとは無縁 と、お気に入りポイント満載で、廃盤以降後釜を探し続けていますが これ！というモデルに出会えておりませんでした。 ・新品が買える間に予備機を買っておくべきでした。 ●現状、ソニーMDR-MA900の後釜候補ナンバーワンです。 ・以降、MA900との比較したときの感想です。 だらだらと文句めいたことも書いておりますが 気に入っており、結論としては買ってよかったです。 ・末長く販売継続、部品供給していただきたい製品です。 ●音質について…モニター系にしては若干刺激強めな鳴り方かな。 ・解像度高め、モニターヘッドホンにしてはほんのりドンシャリ傾向な印象です。 エージングが進んで角がとれてくるといい感じになりそうです。 開放型ならではの音場の広がりは十分感じられます。 ・気に入りました。 ・900比較では50xの方が緻密感あり、低音はやや弱め、高音やや強め。 音場は900の方が広め、聞き疲れしないのは900。 ・身も蓋もないですが、音質については他人の意見はあまり参考にせず、試聴するに限ります。 ◎かなり軽い ・カタログ上では本機のほうが少しだけ重たいのですが、感覚的にMA900と同等です。 重くて疲れる、ということはないですね。 ×イヤーパッドが小さめ ・MA900はパッドが大きく、耳たぶを圧迫することがほぼないのですが、 本品のパッドは開口部分が小さいため耳が入りきらず、 耳たぶが引っ掛かる感覚があります。 ・私の耳はそれほど大きい方ではないので、大きめの人は試着推奨です。 →後日70用に交換しました。装着感向上します。 △イヤーパッドの生地について ・しっとり滑らか系のベロア生地です。肌触りは良い反面、若干暑苦しいです。 MA900はジャージ生地でさらっとしたつけ心地で、こっちの方が好みです。 ・せっかく密閉性を考慮しなくてよい開放型なのですから、 イヤーパッドはより通気性を重視した生地を採用してほしいです ・あと、イヤーパッドの縁の部分に合成皮革が使用されていますが、 これはやめてほしい。 合成皮革は加水分解で数年でボロボロになるので可能な限り使用しないでほしいです。 （傷んだらパッドを自分で交換可能なのが救いではありますが…) ○ヘッドパッドは見た目よりいい感じ。 ・肌触りのいいメッシュ生地でです。 ・中のスポンジは比較的柔らかめです。 コロッとしたパッドが二つポコンとついており、 装着感が悪そうに見えますが、 実際のところはそんなことありませんでした。違和感ほぼなし。 ・本体にはビスで固定されています。 劣化したらHP経由で部品購入→自分で交換できるので文句なしです。 ○ヘッドバンドのカーブを自分である程度調整できます。 ・ヘッドバンドは金属製の平板形状なので、 自分で曲クセを付けてカーブ度合いを調整することができます。 ・私は頭が大きめなので開く方向に調整しました。 結果、側圧が下がって耳回りの圧迫感が低下しました。 反面ヘッドホン重量をヘッドパッドで受け持つ割合が増すので ヘッドパッドの存在感というか圧迫感は増します。 いい塩梅を探りながら調整しました。 総合的につけ心地が良くなりました。 ※力を入れすぎると取り返しのつかない曲がりかたになりそうなので、ご注意ください ◎パッド類、ケーブルが別売されている ・イヤーパッド、ヘッドパッド、ケーブルについてはHP経由で部品購入 →自分で交換できます。 最高です。さすがオーディオテクニカさんです。 おかげで長く愛用できそうです。 ・MA900では別売されておらず、本機最大の不満点でした。 ・以前使用していた別メーカーの別機種は ヘッドバッドが交換不能な構造なのにもかかわらず合成皮革で、 比較的短期間で分解してボロボロになって困ったことがあります。 ◎ケーブルが二種類同梱されてます。 ・3m、1.2mn二種類のケーブルが同梱されております。 比較的柔軟性があって取り回しがよいです。 ・ポータブルプレーヤーで使用する際は1.2mが大変便利です。 MA900は3mケーブル直付けで交換不能だったので取り回しがイマイチでした。 ×ケーブルの付け根部分が邪魔に感じることがある。 ・本モデルのケーブルは脱着可能の片出し仕様です。 これ自体は大変ありがたいのですが、 脱着可能の関係でケーブル基部が直付タイプよりも大きめです、 加えてケーブルがハウジング下部から真下に向かって出ております。 ・これらの結果、首を振った際にケーブル基部が肩や鎖骨らへんに当たって邪魔です。 ・個人差はあると思いますが、私の場合かなり鬱陶しくて不快です。 △蒸れにくさはMA900の圧勝 ・開放型なので密閉型より通気性がよいのは間違いないのですが、 耳の後ろ部分ががっつり開口していたMA900に比較すると 長時間使用時にはどうしても若干の蒸れ感を感じてしまいます。 【20250603追記：イヤーパッドを換えてみた】 ・イヤーパッドを 純正品「HP-R70X」に交換してみました。 これは上位機種であるATH-R70x用の交換パッドでして、 後継機の ATH-R70xaも同じ品番が指定されています。 価格は50x向け純正2,200円よりちょっとお高い3,300円でした。 ・フラップの形状が若干異なりますが特に問題なく装着可能でした。 ・50x純正より若干大きいようで、耳の収まりがグッとよくなりました。 また、生地が50はしっとりベロア調なのに対して 70用は50より生地が粗めでちょっとさらっとした風味があり、 暑苦しさが低下しました。 ・交換によって音質はメーカーが狙ったものからズレてしまったかもしれませんが、 それよりも装着感がよくなった方が私にとっては嬉しいです。 交換大成功です。オススメです。 ・ただ、それでもイヤーパッドが小さめなのには変わりなく、 不満が完全に解消されたか？というとそうではありません。 後継機での改良を期待します。
