The Slice 10545 large scissors respond to a demand for a greater variety of scissor styles with finger-friendly blades. These exceptionally comfortable scissors feature a soft ring lining and a lightweight handle for ease of use. As well, the blades are non-conductive, non-magnetic, non-sparking, easy to clean, and never rust. The 10545's ambidextrous design means anyone can use them and their hand-sharpened safety grind lasts up to 11 times longer than typical metal scissors.

A: Hello - yes they can be washed in dishwasher - and you can use for triming as long as it’s not BONES or very thick stems (for example, thickness of rose / flower stems would be too thick)

A: No, the only Slice tool that can be carried onto a plane is the #00200 Safety Cutter. // TEAM SLICE // Miami, Florida

**Q: Where could I buy a suitable case for these?**
A: Slice do not sell cases for their products, however a pencil case would work. Slice tools blades feature Slice finger-friendly patent technology, therefore the blades are safe to touch when not in a case or in use. // TEAM SLICE // Miami, Florida

**Q: Will this work with composite fabrics like kevlar and carbon fiber?**
A: They work for Kevlar, but not as well as a purpose built pair. After cutting about 10 yards worth of Kevlar my Slice scissors were all chipped up along the blades, and no longer usable.

Not these! Worth it to me, for my specific use case. For others, they are definitely a smooth and sharp pair of scissors, but I'll let you be the judge of whether they are worth the price for you or not :)
