A: No, I have it running on its own track 12 volts DC, I have seen on the internet that there are some people that have installed DCC receivers in them.I don't think it is worth the work and Money.

**Q: Is this item electric or doesn't it run on batteries?**
A: It runs off of track power (DC)

**Q: Can it run on wooden tracks?**
A: No, it is run by electricity and needs metal tracks.

どなたか書いているように、かなり電圧が高くならないと走らない。 音を出すために要する電力にしては大きすぎる印象だが、原因はそれしか考えられない。 警笛の頻度が写実と比べて高いと思うが、この場合楽しませるのが主目的なので、この設計が正しいと思う。 一番引っかかるのはお値段。「音だけでこの金額アップかあー」と言う感じです。
