I have used bare hands to colour as I found it easiest but probably not recommended as it took a while before washing it off 😊 Review: I needed to change the color of a few hardware pieces for my kitchen hutch and when through a few products that didn’t work very well. This product is easy to use and is a nice antique gold color. It drys fairly quick and has a mild smell. You don’t have to use a lot, it goes on easy and is thick. I would highly recommend this product if you are needing to change the color of your hardware. I’ve included a before and after picture.
