I took care to photo the old extruder before I replaced it with the new one. I particulary like that the motor tap is mounted using screws. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Works great with some extra 3D printed mods *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 August 2018* I'm very happy with my purchase. The aluminium extruder upgrade on my Ender 3 works great when combined with a couple of mods which I'll provide links for at the end of this review.I decided to stick with the stock extruder spindle on the motor as the teeth are deeper and sharper. The pneumatic fitting for the PTFE tube while not as bad as the Ender's stock one, did show a little wobble with retraction, so I printed the Ultimaker Extruder Multi Clip at 80% scale and it fit nicely. I now get excellent extrusion and retraction with no stringing.The Ender 3 also suffers from a slight design flaw where the filament comes very close to the Z axis screw. This aluminium extruder upgrade does nothing to address this, which is a pity.
