**Q: How long will this product be visible after it is added to machine oil?**
A: It stayed visible in engine oil (Mobil -1-), for at least 1500 miles.  I believe that it remains visible until oil change.  This is desirable if you are looking for a slow leak.

**Q: Can this dye be used in coolant/antifreeze also?**
A: This product is only meant to work with oil. I would not recommend using this in your cooling system.

**Q: What quantity of dye per quart of oil do I need for transmission fluid**
A: The manufacturer's instructions state that the dilution ratio is 1 oz. of Dye-Lite TP-3400 (fluorescent leak detection dye) for every 12 quarts of automatic transmission fluid. The ratio for engine oil is 0.5 oz. per 4-6 quarts. For additional information about the product you can contact, Tracer Products, at 800-641-1133 or www.tracerline.com.

**Q: Oil already glows under a black light how does this help**
A: We use black light to find leaks in big diesel engines. Engine oil (at least the ones we use), diesel fuel and coolant do not glow under black light.
