## Overview

The Siemens QF115A is a 15 Amp, single-pole GFCI circuit breaker with a 10,000 AIC interrupt rating, designed for 120V systems. Featuring an innovative self-test and lockout mechanism, it continuously monitors its own functionality to ensure maximum safety. Ideal for high-risk environments like kitchens, bathrooms, and spas, it delivers reliable Class A ground fault protection with easy plug-in installation.

## Description

Testing GFCIs and afcis on a monthly basis is a good idea that is sometimes forgotten. Underwriters laboratories (UL) suggests that afci/GFCI Devices be tested every 30 days after installation to ensure they are properly working. Now the new self test & lockout feature enables the dual function circuit breaker to automatically and continuously test itself to ensure that it is working properly. If it is detected that the device has been compromised, the device trips itself and locks out the homeowner from resetting the device, reducing the possibility of the homeowner incorrectly assuming that the device was tripped to prevent a ground/arc fault. This effortless system guarantees that only the best protection is given to your home at all times.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are these items returnable with a full refund? i am ordering them for my electrician. i’m afraid if i get the wrong thing i will be stuck with them.**
A: You can return

**Q: will this work with 6 wag wire? Or do I need to run a 50 amp at the breaker box and install this at the outlet receptacle box?**
A: This question kinda concerns me. It shows a lack of knowledge of what your doing. This is a 120 volt breaker. 50 amp would be 240 volts and would have two positive wires. Unless your wiring a sub panel. You can’t just connect the two together. As for the question 6 gauge wire will fit but that gauge of wire seams kind of over kill unless you are running a long distance. If you would like you can Google a amperage to wire gauge to distance chart. But if it’s for a sub Panel by all means 50 amp to another 50amp in the new panel and then the 30 amp gfci branched off the new panel. It’s complicated with out knowing all the details. You could click my name and contact me for more info if needed I hope this helped

**Q: Will this work in a Murray panel?**
A: The latest Siemens and Murray panels are compatible and the breakers are approved for either load center. Typically the breaker and the panel should be the same company to comply the NEC. Siemens owns Murray and the breakers are identical, the Murray load centers are just a cheaper version of the siemens units. For the most part if the form factor is correct it will work, for a while ge had issues with afci breakers and was relabeling Siemens breakers. Siemens, Murray, and GE use the same size breakers. Technically putting ge in Siemens or Siemens in ge is a code violation, practically speaking it works fine.

**Q: Will this breaker fit in a siemens w0204ml1060u 60 amp outdoor circuit breaker enclosure ?**
A: It should fit correctly, but be aware that the circuit breaker in not for outdoors.
Also the circuit breaker is 40 Amps not 60
