OK, this was my bed for about 5 years when I had a 24-hour-a-day computer job. The only thing that wore were the foot rests. When the fabric shredded I had it redone in matching cowhide. One day the metal rod frame surrounding and supporting the seat cracked. Welding fixed it but I ended up replacing the seat when I found a new one for $50. Keep the pets off. You can spend a good part of a day removing cat hair from the fabric models. I'd get this chair in leather if there's a choice. You can probably find the Norwegian Balans Chair way cheaper than the $2000+ being asked by this seller.
