The bag was not water resistant at all from the start. The first time I washed the bag then applied TX Direct Spray, the fabric became slightly water resistant. I figured it could be improved. I washed it more deeply and rinsed it much better, then applied the TX Direct again. The second time the water beading is much better. Singapore weather so hot and humid. After every hiking or walking trip my back and backpack will be sweaty. So this product is good.
