I wear waterproof so if you want to use waterproof you will need a good eye makeup remover product. I use Neutrogena oil free eye makeup remover. It comes in a blue bottle and is also sold on desertcart for 1/2 of what it costs me in the store and its a larger bottle. Couple swipes with that and waterproof mascara comes off. No smuding or flaking, and stays on when you wear it. I like that I can put on extra coats just on the ends to length as long as I need and also plump up the volume. EDIT:. I have stopped buying this from desertcart. The last two orders the tubes came to dry to use more than a week or two. I now wait for Walgreens buy 2 get 1 free and with coupons it runs me on average 21.00 for 3 and they are always fresh.
