I don't even draw. In 3 days of consistent practice I was able to make a halfway decent tattoo on fake skin. Do yourself a favor though and get some decent 3mm silicone practice sheets. The unit itself is very easy to figure out and the quality is great. I love it. Kit literally comes with everything you need to tattoo as soon as you get it other than tattoo transfer gel.
