I forgot to do that so many times before this pump!In comparison to the pump I had previously, this pump is so quiet I am stunned. The only noise I can hear now is the water tumbling from the tank above into the sump below. My previous pump was great, but it vibrated which made the sump vibrate which in turn made the cabinet vibrate... at times it all got very loud, so this new pump is amazingly quiet.It's completely vibration-free which has stopped any mechanical noise coming from under the tank. The only time I can hear the pump is as it gathers speed after the 10-minutes of feeding is up.
