My pain is much less and most importantly, the weakness is almost gone. I do both the tyler twist and the reverse tyler twist and plan on doing them every day to make sure the pain doesn't return. In retrospect, I do wish I bought the entire set of 4 instead of purchasing them individually, because I would have saved money, especially because I think I will end up buying the blue one at some point. Just something to think about. Symptoms got bad to a point where I had to drop out of university in guitar and stop playing altogether for a long time. I tried icing, stretching, light dumbbell exercises and physiotherapy which seemed to improve the situation temporarily but not completely. For a while I saw no way out of it, I felt depressed and I thought I'd had to live with this condition for the rest of my life. Then couple years ago, for fun, I started boxing. I enjoyed the sport and it generally added strength in my upper body, including the arms, helping greatly with my golfer's elbow. Afterwards a good physiotherapist and the Theraband came along and I can say the symptoms are 90% gone, i'm back into music full time and I'm playing better than ever. For the remaining 10%? Well sometimes I feel a pinch, but the pain is minimal and lasts seconds instead of days. Chronic tendon problems are an annoying and debilitating burden. There is no miracle cure!
