I'm not a big guy. I'm 5'10" and 240 lbs. I'm not really fat, I just have this "bubble belly" (as my wife calls it). The buttons pull apart on most XL shirts in the belly area and they always seem to come un-tucked so I tried a Red Kap XXL poly/cotton blend work shirt and it fit great. There's just enough room across the belly for the buttons to not pull apart and feel like they're gonna pop AND they're a couple inches longer than the XL so they stay tucked in. I'm an auto collision repair estimator so I'm up and down a lot, laying on the ground looking under customer's vehicles. It's very embarrassing when your head is under a car in the parking lot and your belly is hanging out because your shirt is too small. I'm tall and thin basically. I bought both a large-tall and an XL-tall. I didn't even try the XL-tall as the large-tall fit great. I wanted something that's not baggy, and this shirt is not, but if I put on 20lbs it probably would be a tight fit. I'm pretty sure this shirt would fit a 6'7" guy lengthwise. The sleeves are about an inch too long for me (no big deal) and the shirt itself is very long.So if you're 6'3" or shorter I wouldn't get the "tall".
