So I knew shortly after getting introduced to this game that I had to get the book dedicated to just the art. It’s a big book, with over 400 pages of concept art, portraits, icons, promotional illustrations, and storyboards. Half of the book alone is dedicated to the Phantom Thieves and their Personas. Every Palace boss and confidant is featured as well, with each character getting at least three pages. There are creator’s comments sprinkled throughout and an interview with Shigenori Soejima at the back, but the text is all in Japanese and unfortunately I can’t read it, so I can’t comment on that aspect. Also interesting to see the original designs for the characters and how they changed to become the P5 characters we love. My only regret is that I couldn't find one of these in English at a reasonable price. I started learning but I don't know Japanese well enough yet to be able to read it and understand.
