Im trying to find a monitor for a very small elderly adult.** A: You can. There is a setting that you choose “pediatric” or “adult” for that user. I was thinking that that has something more to do do with telling the machine just which size cuff you’re using...but that’s just a guess...I don’t actually know what difference the settings do. Seems like you would just use the pediatric cuff on the pediatric setting even tho it’s an adult and go by the perameters the Dr. gave the patient to know if BP ok. **Q: What is the maximum BP this will read?** A: I am not sure.
