Dimensions - Diameter: 45.8cm / 458mm / 18" Height : 66.6cm / 660mm / 26" Mouth diameter : 28cm/ 280mm / 11" Weight : 60kgs Packed in a wooden box (Approx. 80 Kgs) L x W x H: 54 x 57 x 73 (cms). The method of lighting and using our Tandoor Oven is similar to a charcoal fired BBQ.:  With the Lid off and the ventilation door open, take couple of firelighters and break into smaller pieces and place at the base of the Oven  Put around 3kg of lump wood charcoal in a pyramid shape around the fire lighters and light the fire lighters with a long match stick  It will take approx. 30 minutes from cold to cooking temperature.  Make sure flame has subsided since you are cooking from the residue heat of the burnt / burning charcoal at the bottom.  Put pre-marinated meat or vegetables in skewers and place all 8 / 10 skewers.  Since the heat inside the clay pot is even, there is no need to turn the skewers whilst food is cooked. Your food will cook very fast - the meat is cooked from outside in (with the heat of the clay walls) & inside out (since skewers will get hot).  Remove cooked food from skewers taking care not to touch metal of the skewers ## Features - Puri Tandoors brings you centuries old cooking technique in an urban avatar for your home/garden - Perfect for home parties of approx 20-25 people - Make Restaurant quality nan breads, tandoori chicken & tikkas at home, Enjoy fat free vertical cooking - Free accessories include: 1 x SS Lid, 2 x SS Side Tables, 10 x SS Skewers, 2 x SS Nan Rods, 1 x Nan Gaddi / Cushion, 1 x SS tandoor bbq grill/griddle, 1 x weatherproof cover, 1 x Recipe Book with over 70 tandoori recipes - Traditional Indian clay oven encased in a stylish stainless steel casing with heavy insulation to retain heat ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Package Dimensions | 71 x 57 x 54 cm; 3 kg | | Part number | SS2u | | Material type | stainless steel | | Manufacturer | PURI Tandoors | | Manufacturer reference | SS2u | | ASIN | B01MDP3FDX | ## Images ![PURI LARGE stainless steel charcoal home tandoori oven - Model: SS2 ultima - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51+o7HtANJL.jpg) ![PURI LARGE stainless steel charcoal home tandoori oven - Model: SS2 ultima - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51LJ5gX0CEL.jpg) ![PURI LARGE stainless steel charcoal home tandoori oven - Model: SS2 ultima - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41JLlAxdV5L.jpg) ![PURI LARGE stainless steel charcoal home tandoori oven - Model: SS2 ultima - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41fhTE41-aL.jpg) ![PURI LARGE stainless steel charcoal home tandoori oven - Model: SS2 ultima - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51QeRrb7O9L.jpg) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/72865859-puri-large-stainless-steel-charcoal-home-tandoori-oven-model-ss2](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/72865859-puri-large-stainless-steel-charcoal-home-tandoori-oven-model-ss2) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
