This is my second time purchasing this syrup, it is a nice improvement over simple syrup when making an Old Fashioned. It has a subtle bourbon flavor. I also find that it is a nice addition to any whiskey. If I don't feel like taking the time to make an Old Fashioned, I add just a teaspoon-ish of this, a big ice block, pour in my favorite whiskey, and stir. The thickness and clarity is what you expect from a good maple syrup.
