It is operated by one AA battery which is not included. The little eye massager measures about 5 inches tall, very compact and delightful with its lovely bright colour. It is also very easy to use by just twisting the unit itself to turn it on and off, or open the device(to change battery).The top bit of the massager is made of silicone kind of material, nice to the touch and lovely to hold. There is a magnet point(as seen in my pictures) at the bottom, which is the main bit for eye massaging. You are supposed to use this magnet point to massage your eyes for 5 mins every night after putting on your eye cream.When the magnet point is vibrating on your under eye area, it gives you a slightly cool feeling which is nice. After using the massager for a short period of time, I find it does slightly help to improve my dark circles, which I am delighted about. However, there are couple things that put me on the fence about this eye massager.First I find the vibration is not too comfortable on the eye area, though this can be fixed by putting the massager slightly away from your skin. Moreover, I would suggest adapting the tapping motion rather than vibration if possible. Also the magnet point is a tad too small in my opinion, I would like to see it double its size at least.Though the massager is easy to use, I find the instruction manual is not very helpful. It doesn't contain information like how exactly are you supposed to use this massager and how often should you use it and the duration of usage. I nearly thought I should use the silicone bit instead of the magnet bit in the start. I only obtained those information by communicating with the supplier whom is very helpful.Disclaimer - I was sent this item in exchange for my honest review. This does not affect my personal opinion.
