## Overview

Thermal Grizzly PhaseSheet PTM is a high-performance thermal pad featuring phase change material that liquefies above 45°C to optimize heat transfer. It offers excellent thermal conductivity, is non-electrically conductive for safe use on sensitive electronics, and maintains stable performance after multiple thermal cycles. Designed for CPUs, GPUs, and various cooling systems, it minimizes pump-out effects and ensures durable, efficient cooling for professional-grade hardware.

## Description

The phase-change material on which the PhaseSheet PTM is based is solid at room temperature. The material only begins to liquefy at temperatures above 45 degrees Celsius. A high contact pressure of around 300-400N is required for optimum distribution of the liquid PhaseSheet PTM and thus the lowest possible layer thickness. PhaseSheet PTM has a very low viscosity in its liquid state and contracts again when it changes to a solid material, thus minimizing the pump-out effect. The pump-out effect is particularly pronounced when combining a copper cooler on a graphics chip because silicon and copper have different linear expansion when heated. The temperatures under load cause the heatspreader and the base plate to deform (concave or convex) and return to their original shape (straight) when they cool down. As a result, the thermal paste is slowly pressed out between the heatspreader and the base plate of the CPU cooler, for example. Review: Great thermal performance! But hard to remove plastic layer - Has great thermal performance. But it is hard to apply. If you refrigerate it and remove the plastic layer(hardest part) then it is easy. But I did without refrigerator. Now my laptop (ThinkPad P15 Gen 2) runs in a stress test at 100 watts for 1st 5 minutes at average of 90°C compared to previously with cryofuze 5 where it would be 50 watts at 80°C . It would run for higher wattage but limitation of VR cooling limits the laptop. Got it is for ₹1699.

I bought it for 1.7k , it's pricey compared to other brands or sellers but you can rest assured of its authenticity and for laptops you can use it twice. P.s use tweezers to remove the protective films in top and bottom.

Has great thermal performance. But it is hard to apply. If you refrigerate it and remove the plastic layer(hardest part) then it is easy. But I did without refrigerator.
