You would just have to prime it and paint over it. But if you used anything that was really thick, you still might see the pattern through the paint that you put over it. I am wanting to use this roller on a ceiling with an extension pole.** A: This is the way the end of the handle on the roller is I don't know if there's a type of extension that would fit in there. But there are NO threads **Q: how do you get the roller close to the seiling so the pattern will be uniform?** A: Just roll up as far as you can go to where the ceiling meets the wall. It's going to be the same all the way across. The roller is only going to be able to go up. So far. it might be a little higher in some areas or lower depending on if it's an old house and the wall and ceiling are a little bit uneven **Q: Do you roll on a texture product or just paint** A: You can use either or both.
