Having the looming prospect of taking statins in sight, I was interested to find a book that offered constructive, easy to follow advice - some of which I've applied, in a bid to avoid this kind of medication. I feel better, am more aware of my diet and supplements and can't wait to get my cholesterol checked next months.

For Cardiac patients, (like myself) who use to take Statins before reading this book, and for anyone not currently taking Statin drugs, but may be approaching the time when their medical practioners will prescribe Statins, I most heartily encourage obtaining and reading this book, along with Dr. Barbara H. Roberts, M.D. book, (The Truth about Statins) and following those readings, anyone still acceptive to being placed on Statins, all I can say is, "you are brave Souls, but for me, I couldn't get permanently off of Statins, "FAST ENOUGH !"
