Safe on painted wall?** A: I would not put it on a painted wall. I bought two packages and put one of the hooks on a painted part of a wall. That particular hook lasted approximately 3 days before it fell off the wall taking part of the wall and paint with it. All the other ones that I put up are on the back of a door and they needed a little convincing to stay where I put them (just hold it tightly to the surface for a few minutes to make sure it adheres). Those hooks have been in place for about 3 weeks now without an issue. **Q: how long is the actual hook part?** A: 40mm tall, 25mm wide, extends 35mm from wall **Q: What is the dimension of the back plate for each hook?** A: The back plate is 2" wide and 2.5 inches tall. **Q: Can I reuse these ? if so where can I buy the adhesive separately ?** A: I doubt they can be reused. If you can pry them off you could probably use any sturdy glue or strong double stick tape.
