It's made of 316SS and copper bonded. As far as I can tell the working surfaces are just 316SS so can handle corrosive materials, but I cannot verify this. The ports are sealed from each other on my sample so no fluid leakage contamination. Looking at the design I have no doubt it will be an efficient heat exchanger. Far better than others I have used in the past where they are basically two pipes welded together.
