I wasn’t happy with any of the sump basins the big box stores carried and I happened to stumble across this one, I would definitely recommend it. The construction is superb and although I have not installed it yet I can already see that the results will be favorable. The cover is designed to sit flush with a concrete floor and can support the weight of a 200 pound handyman. We had to dig it all out, jackhammer the rock they didn't deal with and replace column mold they used for a basin. It was a beastly job, but this pit, the cover and the flange (all from Amazon) have made the new system very good.
