All six are between 7.1 and 7.2 ounces. The knob on top is easy to grab with fingers or tongs. One nice feature that I have not seen on other weights is an X-shaped indentation on the top of the knob. If you use waterless airlock fermentation lids and tend to overfill your jars slightly, this indentation will keep the knob from blocking the silicone valve in the center of the lid, which is something that I have heard people complain about with weights that do not have this feature. My purchasing decision was made on the little handle, and though it takes a bit of space so that I am not able to pack the jar as tight, but as I am using fermentation lids I wanted a little room for expansion.When I received my order one of the weights had a defect on the bottom that could have potentially captured a little air.
