I didn't expect to notice any difference in my old IDI diesel that has more in common with an old tractor engine than modern automotive engines, but it's been quite an improvement. Engine idles more smoothly, much quieter, revs more readily, and I've had to recalibrate my right foot because less throttle is needed to get the same acceleration. So far I haven't noticed any fuel efficiency benefits, but my right foot has been enjoying how much better the engine runs. Even if I don't get any fuel efficiency benefit, for the very minimal cost of the additive I'll happily run it just for how much better the engine runs.
