My two year old has a lot of food allergies and is a very picky eater. It is hard for her to get all of the nutrients needed, so as a result she is underweight. This is the only product I could find that was meant for toddler and safe for her to have. I did my research and I felt the price was not too bad, so I went ahead and bought one to try out.Pros:- Safe for my daughter's allergies (eggs, dairy, nuts, tomatoes, avocados, and sesame seeds)- You can mix it with any liquid (I put it in her smoothie or her dairy free milk)- She actually likes it, which is kind of surprising because it does not smell the greatest.Cons:- The container is only half way filled. I was blown away when I opened the can. It reminds me of opening a bag of chips that half way filled with air.- It does not mix well. I have to mix it with a spoon and then mix it again when it settles. It will clump together and clog my daughter's sippy cup. This does not happen when I blend it in her smoothie.- There are not any directions. I looked all over the can to see how much my daughter should be having each day. I ordered anyway for my autistic grandson who has allergies to dairy, soy and gluten even before he was diagnosed. So was afraid he wouldn't like taste. He loves it. We get the vanilla and mix with his coconut milk and he drinks it right down. Maybe because he hasn't had "sweet milk" or because he has had fish oil drops is why he likes it. I tried it and it just reminded me of meal replacement diet shake. Just get small can and try it. His friends (~3 yo) are really into vanilla milk, and this is a relatively healthy alternative to overly sweetened store-bought vanilla milk. It does not mix perfectly, nor are the ingredients ideal. I'm not a huge fan of rice protein.
