It is thick, and appears to be well constructed. The cable is black, flexible, and slightly rubberized. I would definitely recommend this product if you're looking for an extra charge cable, or one that is longer than the stock cable that comes with the watch. I can't speak to the durability yet as I've only had it for one day at this time. But compared to the price of the OEM Garmin charge cable, this was worth every penny.
