One split in the tread and the other popped at the nipple/opening. If this is a normal length of time that these balls last, please state that in the description so the customers are aware before purchasing.Just had one of the 15lb balls split today. That's both 20lb balls and now one of the 15lb balls. I imagine the other 15lb will also be failing soon. I bought the 30 LBS and i am extremely happy with the diameter. The size is just right because it is very stable in the sense that you barely feel the movement of the sand used to fill the ball. Excellent grip and it gives you the confidence in your movements. I DONT THINK THEY CONDUCTED ANY CONSUMER TRIALS. I THINK IF THEY HAD, THIS FLAW WOULD HAVE BEEN HIGHLIGHTED AND CORRECTED. TO ACHIEVE THE LISTED WEIGHT OF 6 POUNDS SAND WAS ADDED INSIDE OF THE BALL. BUT THE SAND WAS LOOSE AND CAUSED INERTIA WHEN THE DIRECTION WAS CHANGED. IT WAS OFF BALANCE. THE OUTTER DESIGN WAS PERFECT.
