It’s for orchids! So, I don’t really know what being vegan has to do with it. **Q: Can I use the orchid potting mix for my anthurium?** A: I would not buy this product for any type of plant. It was just tiny pieces of bark in the bag that crumbled. Get a different one all together. **Q: From china no instructions. Can I pot new orchid in tiny pot as is or does soil need to be soaked? thanks** A: I always soak the medium first. Cut away dead roots and pot.
