Yes, the material is thin. It’s the same material as most seat covers, it’s not waterproof so if you dump a large amount of liquid obviously it won’t protect against moisture. That’s where responsible ownership comes in, it’s on you to not make a mess. There has been some fading in the few months I’ve had it, but it’s $20 so not devastating if I have to buy another. Is it the perfect fit for my truck seats?
