Saracen Deadlock Gearbox for upvc windows with 22mm backset. This is for the Gearbox Mechanism Only - shootbolts can be bought separately A Deadlock mechanism systems consist of shootbolts and a unique central gearbox with a deadlock. The shootbolts fit into the the gearbox mechanism with a bayonet fitting using a twist-and click motion. Shootbolt rods are available in four lengths and are simple to connect. The deadbolt that moves in and out of the middle of the gearbox mechanism size can be either 9.5mm or 11.5mm. You can find the deadbolt size on the end of the latch.
