I am new to fountain pens so I think for a beginner pen, this is a decent choice without breaking the bank. It has a nice weight to it and I like how compact it is. The ink can get messy when refilling but I appreciate the fact that you don’t have to buy specific ink cartridges that end up getting disposed of. Instead you can buy a specific ink and refill this pen.
