But to be fair 90% of the battle was getting the old one out with the very deep seating bracket. The biggest downside in fitting was that it weighs a TON and can only go in at an awkward angle. I gave up with the seating bracket since the thing has no room to move around in the cavity anyway... but the breather hose thing did snap off during my wiggling around to get it to drop in. Bought a new one for... I think about 8 quid. The battery itself is brilliant tho. I dread to think what Mercedes would have charged me. The only downside is auto-stop-start works again... and I frequently fail to remember to turn it off (I live in the city. Traffic creeps. It will stop/start 3 or 4 times a minute if I leave it on.
