## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this what I should use as a primer coat, then a different finish and then a clear coat?**
A: Correct. I usually do a few coats of sanding sealer then sand, then fill the grain, then a few coats of this product. Then I level sand to 1000 grit. Then a couple color coats and 10 coats of clear. I use all classic nitrocellulose lacquer. The white base really makes metallic colors pop. 🙂

**Q: can it be sprayed over polyurethane?**
A: Technically, yes, but there's a large enough chance for adhesion issues where this isn't recommend.

**Q: Can you spray lacquer over this?**
A: yes. I used this to paint my les Paul white. Turned out good.

**Q: I'm just looking for a white lacquer.  White will be my final color.  Is this sufficient to do that with a primer under and a clear gloss coat?**
A: I don’t think so,  the vinyl coat is to seal the wood and act as a primer prior to what ever nitro color you finish it with,  and then the clear is put over the color
