They like putting the stuff in a shopping cart and moving it around the house. Their 2 year old cousin has a set, too and he's done fine with his set, too. **Q: What is the actual size, height etc of eavh item. Am wanting something that fits in q vintage refrigerator.** A: The tallest pieces are the orange juice and milk containers. They stand at approximately 7 1/2 inches **Q: Will these items fit in a step2 kitchen?** A: I bought several of Melissa & Doug's pantry items - canned vegetables, play fresh fruits and vegetables, and this dairy/deli mixture for my grandson's (2 years old now) kitchen. It's not a Step2, but it's a nice little toddler kitchen. These items are a good size for toddlers and for the kitchen, but mine doesn't have much storage space for all of the stuff I got him, so I bought him a little stacking set of see-through drawers to keep the different type of Melissa & Doug food items in that I bought. He also keeps containers from our real kitchen of items that he sees us use in there. S, they are a good size to use in the kitchen, but probably too big to store well in the kitchen. Hope this helps! **Q: Will the milk and orange juice fit in the fridge of the Melissa and Doug shopping center?** A: I don’t have the Melissa and Doug Shopping Center but this particular set is the box type material and the milk and orange juice is taller than the shorter wood ones which we also have.
