It was so engrossing that I had read the entire archives in less than a week, realized that the archives probably wouldn't be hosted for eternity, and bought this product. I am now secure in the knowledge that, whenever I want too, I can re-read this book wherever I want. The art is fantastic, the story is, as stated above, thought provoking and creative, and the world in which it takes place in echoes a sweet harmony of child-hood imaginings - though it's a story much more deep than that of which a child would read. In ending this review, I say this: If you haven't bought Digger yet, buy it. And, If you haven't read it yet and have stumbled across this page by accident I say this: For the love of god, read it. Sadly out of print, I was fortunate to find a used copy available at a not unreasonable price. It arrived in terrific shape for a 2013 paperback copy and I am thrilled to possess it. Ursula Vernon is a wonderful talent, and I am working my way through her backlist. She writes for both children and adults (under her own name and T. Kingfisher) and does well in both.
