The Walking Dead is a story of survival and vulnerability, and playing through season 2 as Clementine is a refreshing way to experience this thoughtful story. Sometimes decisions you would like to make get veto'd by adults in the game, which is fitting. Sometimes, your perspective as a "kid" is just what the group needs. While Season 2 as a whole ranks below Season 1 in my opinion, it's still a worthwhile journey for any fan of adventure games, zombies, horror, or emotional drama. Strong language and adult themes are commonplace here, so be aware. The tense atmosphere almost has nothing to do with the restless corpses assailing the humans, and more to do with the incredible writing for the characters themselves. Clementine has gotten a little older and a LOT wiser since we last saw her, and her struggle to survive in this world gone mad is a compelling one. Keep an eye out as the game progresses... you just might see a familiar face or two from the previous game. All in all, I give this game and its predecessor highest marks across the board.
