The E-Ink screen and the core handwriting feel are excellent, offering a truly pleasant, focused, and paper-like experience. However, two fundamental performance issues severely compromise its usability, especially for serious note-takers. 👍 What I Like: Superb Handwriting Feel: The core writing experience in the native Notes app is fantastic—smooth and responsive. Portability & Design: The device is lightweight and perfectly sized for a 7-inch E-Ink tablet. Battery Life (while awake): Battery life during active reading/writing is generally good. ❌ Critical Issues: Major System Navigation Flaw (The Deal-Breaker): This is the most serious issue. While writing in the Notes app, the device frequently registers my resting palm/hand as a navigation command (such as a swipe or gesture), causing the app to unexpectedly exit to the Home Screen or switch to an adjacent note. I have tried all available settings, including enabling the exit confirmation prompt, but the problem persists. This bug makes comfortable, uninterrupted note-taking extremely difficult and frustrating.
