Review: Beautiful product but too small for my requirements - It's a beautiful product - I loved the colour, and it appeared to be well made. It is meant to be 1L capacity, which it is, but that's only if you fill it with nothing but water. However, by the time you add ground coffee and hot water, the end result is around 700ml of brewed coffee. I was looking for a large capacity 'keep hot' coffee maker but sadly this did not suit my requirement and I had to return it. I cannot comment on it's 'keep hot' functionality either as I returned it unused. The return and refund was very easy and fast. I got my full refund less postage, which was quite reasonable. I so wish Kichly would make larger capacity double walled coffee press.
Review: Lovely quality and design -update: the paint peels off - A lovely design, although I would say the colour is a greener shade of blue than shown in the picture - but I was OK with that. It also comes with a spare mesh. I can't really comment on the coffee cup capacity, as I use it for making loose leaf tea - it does a better job than any tea strainer - it does 2 large mugs easily. There is an arrow on the top to line up with the spout when pouring and the only slight downside is that the opening is very small. Update to review: I don’t put this in the dishwasher very often, even though it is supposedly dishwasher proof, but the paint is peeling off in chunks. It doesn’t affect performance and underneath looks like a very nice satin finish. It will be fine once all the paint is gone, but it looks terrible now.
