Thanks** A: I would say not. I bought this item for garden use / weed killer etc. I don’t imagine it would work for wood stain/paints. Best way is to contact the supplier. **Q: Can you use ordinary fence paint with this product?** A: As long as it is not too thick there should be both to impede wood stain or (very) β€˜thin’ paint being sprayed through this nozzle but take care as the pressure will not be enough for thicker paints. **Q: Can you use this sprayer with Cuprinol clear wood preservative** A: Yes. You have but the spray head does seem to spray to much chemical So I used a brush to spread the excess. Performed this task well. However, advertised as able to spray water-based fence paints. Attempted this with Cuprinol but it didn't work at all. Diluted the paint with water and it spluttered it out.
