There's also full support for integrating your own motion-control rigs. If you're serious about stop-motion (as in: you have already animated enough to know that you are good at it and intend to do it much longer, or are doing paid professional work, or are working on your master thesis for animation, or some other similar scenario) then there is no better investment than this incredible tool. It was made by animators for animators.If you are JUST GETTING STARTED LEARNING... I recommend you use one of the many free tools available online, like Monkey Jam, Animator DV Simple, etc... I only say this because Dragonframe is concerned with far more technical aspects than you should concern yourself with at the beginning stages of learning animation. You DO NOT NEED Dragonframe to learn to make stop-motion films.You DO NEED to practice animation with as few variables as possible.Hope this helps. Dragonframe's support team is fantastic, and this software has enough features to keep you busy for awhile, all while staying simplistic and organized. **HERE IS MY WARNING HOWEVER** If you are a beginner, or more of a hobbiest as far as stop motion animations go, I would advise you to invest in more simplistic software such as (iStopMotion) for Mac or a lower end version of (Stop Motion Pro) for PC. I am not trying to draw anybody away from this software in the least bit, but in order to utilize it completely and professionally you must also possess a copy of either Adobe After Effects, or Final Cut Pro, for processes such as rig removal and various other post effects...but a creative professional should have one or both of these tools at their disposal already.
